Upgrade to a glibc2.1 linux, such as RedHat >=6.0, or Suse >=6.2.  Older
versions, which employ glibc2.0.x, will not work.  Another option would be to
downgrade to IDLv5.2.  Though RSI doesn't note this on their website, 5.3 for
Linux was built with a Redhat 6.x variant.
